1. About AIral Space

AIral Space (ABN 992 852 93 15) is a sole-trader business based in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. We deliver generative-AI training, workshops and related consulting services (Services). In this policy “we”, “our” and “us” mean AIral Space, and “you” means any individual whose Personal Information we hold.

This policy explains how we collect, use, disclose and protect your Personal Information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. (OAIC, OAIC)

2. The information we collect

We only collect information that is reasonably necessary for our functions. This may include:

Identity and contact – name, email, phone, business name and job title

Transaction – billing details, purchase history, workshop attendance

Usage – IP address, device type, browser, pages viewed, referring site

Marketing preferences – newsletter opt-in status, event interests

User-generated content – prompts, files or data you choose to share during hands-on labs or consultancy sessions

Sensitive information (for example accessibility requirements) is collected only with your consent and handled in line with APP 3.

6. Cross-border disclosure

7. Cookies and analytics

We use first-party and third-party cookies to remember preferences, measure traffic and improve the site. You can block cookies via browser settings, though some features may not work. We also use tools such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity which anonymise or pseudonymise IP addresses where feasible.

8. Direct marketing

We will only send you newsletters or promotional material if you have opted in (or if the Spam Act 2003 allows us to rely on a soft opt-in). Each message includes an unsubscribe link that works immediately.

9. Security

We store data in encrypted cloud systems, restrict access by role, enforce multi-factor authentication and run regular security reviews. Despite best efforts, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100 percent secure.

10. Access and correction

You may request access to, or correction of, your Personal Information at any time. Email privacy@airalspace.com.au. We will respond within 30 days as required by APP 12 and 13.

11. Data retention

Records are kept only as long as needed for the purpose collected, plus any statutory retention period (for example, seven years for tax records). After that we securely delete or anonymise the data. (OAIC)

12. EU and UK residents

Where the General Data Protection Regulation or UK GDPR applies, you may also have rights to data portability, restriction of processing and objection to automated decision-making. You can lodge concerns with your local supervisory authority or with the OAIC in Australia.

13. Complaints

If you believe we have breached privacy laws, contact us first at privacy@airal.space. We will investigate and respond in writing within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you may escalate to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (www.oaic.gov.au).

14. Changes to this policy
